Random Thoughts from Barcelona

I have been in Barcelona more than a month now and I can easily say that I had a great time. All that sangria, wine and cerveza...amazing time. But I also had enough of it, I can't wait to go back to Istanbul. Since we have so much free time here, I have just seen everything one is supposed to see in Barcelona, and I'm sick of doing the same shit every night. Pregaming in the residence, then going to a club by the sea...I personally don't really like clubs, I am more of a bar guy, so going to Born, drinking some beer was my favorite parts of this trip. I am definitely glad I did this program, I met a lot of wonderful people and spent really valuable times with them.
I also decided to become a vegetarian, I have been trying it for a couple of days now, it's going well, but the only problem is that the meals I have just don't fill me up, I never feel full. I'm going to see how it goes, and hopefully I can stop eating that filthy looking meat.
Now in a couple of days, I'm going back to Istanbul, and I will have three awesome weeks there. I will probably go to south of Turkey, like Bodrum or Cesme for a week too. The more cities I see, I realize more that Istanbul is by far the most beautiful city in the world, at least from the cities I have visited. Barcelona is really nice and cool and all but it is nothing close to Istanbul for me. So far, from the places I have visited in the world, Rome was closest to being as cool as Istanbul, but Istanbul is just better.
I don't know how I am going to go back to Georgetown after this awesome summer. Having a blast in Istanbul and Barcelona made me realize once again, how much I don't like Georgetown. There are just too many things I don't like about Georgetown and I will talk about them in a future post.
