Conor Oberst is a lyrical genius, he is definitely one of the best modern songwriters. This is one of those songs which takes you somewhere far away even the first time you listen to. You feel his pain and his emotions for Haligh throughout the song.

One of those songs where you can feel how the singer feels when he sings it. So emotional and sad, makes you want to pour a glass of whiskey and just drink up when the vocal screams "I stay to watch you fade away".

A simple, cute, love song.

I can't believe I haven't discovered this song earlier. I have been listening to it a lot since I discovered and it's a depressing, poetic song combined with Jason Mraz's great singing voice and style.
Pernice Brothers- Chicken Wire
Pernice Brothers is a little known, good band who created this sad ballad is worth listening to.
